Two Powerful V6 Engines Offered In Ford Flex

The standard engine in the 2018 Ford Flex is a 3.5L V6 with 287 horsepower. If you want more power, choose the optional 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine, with its turbocharger and a potent 365 horsepower. A standard six-speed transmission drives the front wheels.

While front-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels of the Ford Flex, all-wheel drive is available on the SEL and the Limited.

EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2018 Ford Flex is 15 to 16 MPG City and 21 to 23 MPG Highway, depending on the engine and drive system selected.
