On the 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat model with the Sport package, the signature horizontal grille bars are painted in the body color.

For 2018, the previous model F-150’s 3.5L V6 is replaced by a new 3.3L high efficiency direct-injected V6 with the same 282 horsepower and 253 lb.-ft. of torque as the 3.5L. A new second-generation 2.7L EcoBoost engine provides improved levels of output, efficiency, quality and durability. The powerful 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine remains in the lineup, unchanged.
The 5.0L V8 has been upgraded, with more power and torque. The main news item, engine-wise, for the 2018 Ford F-150 is the availability of the all-new 3.0L Power Stroke diesel engine – it’s the first-ever diesel offered in the F-150!
The 2018 Ford F-150 introduces a brand new 10-speed automatic transmission, the first of its kind in the full-size pickup segment. It is mated with the 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost engines, the 5.0L V8, and the new 3.0L Power Stroke diesel.
